Keystone Community Resources, Inc., Department of Risk Management and Quality Improvement is comprised of Safety, Quality Improvement and Incident Management services for the entire agency. Overall responsibilities include investigations throughout the agency for reportable incidents, safety checks in the homes and collection of incident data to report to funding counties and ensure that the agency as a whole operates in a safe manner.
Keystone’s comprehensive and integrated framework addresses quality in the following domains:

The team of the Department of Risk Management and Quality Improvement bears the ultimate responsibility for assuring the quality and appropriateness of services provided by its professional and support services. The Executive Director oversees the implementation and results of Quality Management activities through reports from the Quality Improvement Council.
The Quality Council’s primary role is to provide direction for all quality improvement efforts in services and business operations throughout the organization as well as to determine the strategic direction and vision for overall Quality Management. Membership includes but is not limited to:
- Program Directors
- Risk Management Coordinator
- Incident Management Coordinator
- Quality Improvement Coordinator
- Persons and families receiving supports
- Agency staff
