 On going staff development is a necessary component of any field of work. However, it is of utmost importance in the human service field. There will always be new and improved techniques, theories, procedures, and skills that we will need to learn in order to perform our job responsibilities.
It is necessary for the staff of Keystone Community Resources to make sure they are kept up to speed with all the latest information. The Department of Staff Development and Training will assist in this process by making available to all employees necessary training's that will provide information necessary to perform their job duties to the best of their ability.
These training's include, but are not limited to, a week long orientation for all new hires, a management training series, communication skills, positive approaches, clinical training series, standard first aid and cpr, safe crisis management, computer training series, medication administration, human resources training series and many other valuable training topics.
In addition, the Department of Staff Development and Training will conduct an adequate amount of annual re certification training's in various areas to ensure that all staff is meeting regulatory requirements and enhancing their skills.
